The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities may sell timber from its forest lands with the proceeds from the sales to be deposited in the general fund of the State. Before a sale, the Department of Administration shall consult with the State Forester to determine the economic feasibility of the sale, and a sale must not be made without the approval of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
