S.C. Code Ann. § 44-54-60

Assignment of cause of action

Known as the Drug Dealer Liability Act

The act spans §§ 44–44 (13 sections).

1999 Act No. 62, SECTION 1.

A cause of action authorized by this chapter shall not be assigned, either expressly, by subrogation, or by any other means, directly or indirectly, to any public or publicly funded agency or institution.
