S.C. Code Ann. § 47-9-230

Earmarking

1962 Code SECTION 6-363; 1952 (47) 2175.

In addition to, or as an alternative to, a brand, any person may have an earmark for marking livestock. All provisions of this article relating to brands shall apply to earmarks.
