S.C. Code Ann. § 50-5-115

Responsibility for determining location of commercial fishing vessel

Known as the South Carolina Marine Resources Act

The act spans §§ 50-5-10 to 50-5-997 (171 sections).

2000 Act No. 245, SECTION 1.

The operator of any vessel engaged in commercial fishing is responsible for accurately determining the location of his vessel in order that he not violate any closed or restricted area.
