Section effective "beginning with the fiscal year immediately following the next Public Service Commission election after" May 12, 2025.

The commission members shall receive a salary in an amount equal to ninety percent of the salary fixed for Associate Justices of the Supreme Court of South Carolina. Each commissioner must devote full time to his duties as a commissioner and must not engage in any other employment, business, profession, or vocation during the normal business hours of the commission.
