S.C. Code Ann. § 63-9-50

Children who may be adopted

Known as the South Carolina Adoption Act

The act spans §§ 63–63 (32 sections).

2008 Act No. 361, SECTION 2.

Any child present within this State at the time the petition for adoption is filed, irrespective of place of birth or place of residence, may be adopted.
