S.D. Codified Laws § 58-35-33

Withdrawal from membership--Surrender of policy for cancellation--Payment of obligations

Any member of an insurer may withdraw therefrom by surrendering his policy to the insurer for cancellation and paying all obligations then owing by him to the insurer.
