Vacancy filled as original appointment — Absence from meetings — Vacation of membership

(1) A vacancy on the commission shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment for the remainder of the unexpired term.
(2) A member of the commission who has four (4) unexcused absences from commission hearings during the member's term of office must vacate the member's office as a member of the commission.
