Tenn. Code Ann. § 17-5-309

Appeal by aggrieved judge

Acts 2019, ch. 496, § 1.

(1) The aggrieved judge may appeal to the supreme court, as a matter of right, within fourteen (14) days from the date of entry of the judgment of the board. The record on appeal must conform to the requirements of Rule 24 of the Tennessee Rules of Appellate Procedure.

(2) The review in the supreme court is de novo on the record made before the board. There is no presumption of correctness of the judgment or the findings of the board.

(3) The supreme court shall convene within seven (7) days after all briefs are filed to hear oral arguments and shall file a written opinion within fourteen (14) days thereafter.
