Tenn. Code Ann. § 3-7-102

Meetings — Subcommittees — Expenses

(1) The committee shall meet at least once in each fiscal quarter on such dates as it shall choose and at such other times as it considers necessary or upon call of the chair.

(2) The committee may create subcommittees for such purposes as it considers advisable.

(3) Members of the committee are entitled to be reimbursed for their expenses in attending meetings of the committee or any subcommittee thereof (including a mileage allowance for travel expenses), at the same rates and in the same manner as when attending the general assembly.
