(1) This part shall be known and may be cited as the “Uniform Durable Power of Attorney Act.”

(2) This part shall be applied and construed to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law with respect to the subject of this part among states enacting it. Nothing in this part shall be construed as abolishing or otherwise adversely affecting the conservatorship law or limited guardianship.
