Improper influence of juror

Acts 1989, ch. 591, § 1.

(1) A person commits an offense who privately communicates with a juror with intent to influence the outcome of the proceeding on the basis of considerations other than those authorized by law.

(2) A violation of this section is a Class A misdemeanor.
