Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-21-606

Residential real estate-related transactions

(1) It is an unlawful practice for any person or other entity whose business includes engaging in residential real estate-related transactions to discriminate against any person in making available such transaction, or in the terms and conditions of such transaction, because of race, color, creed, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin.

(2) As used in this section, “residential real estate-related transaction” means: The making or purchasing of loans or providing financial assistance: For purchasing, constructing, improving, repairing, or maintaining a dwelling;

(3) Where the security is residential real estate; or

(4) The selling, brokering, or appraising of residential real estate.
