Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-58-110

Limitations on application of chapter

Known as the Eligibility Verification for Entitlements Act

The act spans §§ 4–4 (10 sections).

This chapter shall not apply to:

(1) Any person applying for benefits who: Lacks the mental capacity to commit perjury under oath; and

(2) Has not been judicially appointed a guardian or conservator;

(3) Legal services provided by a district public defender, court-appointed counsel, or other counsel for indigent services;

(4) Prenatal care administered by the department of health; or

(5) The special supplemental food program for women, infants and children administered by the department of health.
