Tenn. Code Ann. § 43-38-107

Registered office and registered agent

Known as the Tennessee Processing Cooperative Law

Acts 2004, ch. 534, § 8.

(1) Each cooperative shall have and continuously maintain in this state: A registered office, which may be, but need not be, the same as its place of business;

(2) A registered agent, which agent may be either an individual resident in this state whose business office is identical with the registered office, or a domestic or foreign business entity authorized to transact business in the state having a business office identical with the registered office.

(3) If a registered agent resigns or is unable to perform the agent's duties, the domestic cooperative shall promptly designate another registered agent to the end that it shall at all times have a registered agent in this state.
