Tenn. Code Ann. § 48-101-604

Incorporation

Acts 1992, ch. 698, § 1; T.C.A., § 48-3-604.

(1) One (1) or more persons may incorporate a professional corporation by delivering to the secretary of state for filing a charter that states: It is a professional corporation; and

(2) Its purpose is to render the specified professional services.

(3) A corporation incorporated under a general law of this state whose charter has not been repealed by this part may elect professional corporation status by amending its charter to comply with subsection (a) and § 48-101-609.
