Tenn. Code Ann. § 48-65-107

Registered office and registered agent of foreign corporation

Acts 1987, ch. 242, § 15.07.

Each foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state must continuously maintain in this state:

(1) A registered office that may be the same as its place of business; and

(2) A registered agent, who may be: An individual who resides in this state and whose office is identical with the registered office;

(3) A domestic for-profit or nonprofit corporation whose office is identical with the registered office; or

(4) A foreign for-profit or nonprofit corporation authorized to transact business in this state whose business office is identical with the registered office.
