Tenn. Code Ann. § 49-11-304

Admission — Tuition free

Acts 1947, ch. 98, §§ 3, 4; C

(1) Pupils from the respective school districts in the area to be served shall be admitted upon the basis of the terms of the contract entered into between the respective boards of education, but in no event shall any tuition be charged.

(2) Pupils admitted to the school shall be of sufficient age and maturity to be able to perform the vocation or craft selected at the time of completion of the course.

(3) Admission shall not be based on academic credits or college entrance requirements.
