Out-of-state products to meet requirements — Reciprocal inspection authorities and agreements

(1) It is required that all dairy or trade products shipped into this state from another state shall meet the sanitary standards, definitions and requirements of the law, and the rules and regulations promulgated by the commissioner.

(2) The commissioner is authorized to establish acceptable reciprocal inspection authorities, interstate and intrastate, to properly enforce and administer this chapter in accordance with specifications and regulations adopted by the commissioner.

(3) A reasonable fee shall be charged for all out-of-state inspections where reciprocal inspections are not available and cannot be negotiated.
