Plan of operation — Information to be specified or provided

Known as the Tennessee Insurance Law

The act spans §§ 56–56 (1,220 sections).

Acts 1987, ch. 439, § 5.

(1) The plan of operation shall specify the basis of participation of insurers and agents and the conditions under which risks must be accepted.

(2) Every participating insurer and agent shall provide to any person seeking coverage: The kinds available under the plan of operation; and

(3) The services prescribed in the plan of operation, including full information on the requirements and procedures for obtaining coverage under the plan of operation, assuming coverage cannot be placed in the voluntary market.
