Purpose

Known as the Tennessee Insurance Law

The act spans §§ 56-10-101 to 56-8-206 (1,220 sections).

The purpose of this part is to:

(1) Promote the public interest;

(2) Protect potential buyers of medicare supplement insurance; and

(3) Protect the elderly from unscrupulous agents and companies.
