Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-13-202

Commission a judicial body — Civil liability

Known as the Tennessee Real Estate Broker License Act

The act spans §§ 62-13-101 to 62-13-604 (62 sections).

Acts 1973, ch. 181, § 16(c); T.C.A., § 62-1310.

(1) The commission is declared to be a judicial body and the members or its employees are granted immunity from any civil liability when acting in good faith in the performance of their duties under this chapter.

(2) Should litigation be filed against members of the commission arising from the performance of their duties under this chapter, the commissioners shall be defended by the attorney general and reporter.
