Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-26-302

Immunity from civil liability — Defense of litigation

Acts 1991, ch. 457, § 24.

(1) The commission is declared to be a judicial body and the members or its employees are granted immunity from any civil liability when acting in good faith in the performance of their duties under this chapter.

(2) Should litigation be filed against members of the commission arising from the performance of their duties under this chapter, the members shall be defended by the attorney general and reporter.
