Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-27-129

Continuing education requirements

Known as the Polygraph Examiners Act

The act spans §§ 62-27-101 to 62-27-129 (29 sections).

(1) In prescribing requirements for continuing education as a prerequisite for licensure renewal under § 62-27-105, the commission shall, at a minimum: Define the basic requirements to be no less than twenty-four (24) credit hours every two (2) years in polygraph;

(2) Delineate qualifying programs; and

(3) Establish a system of control and reporting.

(4) The commission may extend the time within which licensees under this chapter are required to comply with continuing education requirements for reasons of poor health, military service or other reasonable and just causes.
