Tenn. Code Ann. § 8-16-313

Wrongful possession of software or hardware — Penalty

Acts 2018, ch. 931, § 2.

(1) It is an offense for a person who, without authorization, knowingly obtains, conceals, damages, or destroys the certificate, disk, coding, card, program, software, or hardware enabling an online notary public to affix an official electronic signature or electronic seal.

(2) A violation of this section is a Class D felony.
