(1) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as repealing any law now in force making it a crime or misdemeanor for such public officers to violate certain statutes of this state and providing a punishment for the violation.
(2) Proceedings under this chapter shall not be a bar to proceedings under any criminal statute now in force or which may be in force.
