Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 542.002

APPLICABILITY OF CHAPTER

Added by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1029 (S.B. 2610), Sec. 1, eff

This chapter applies only to a business entity in this state that:

(1) has fewer than 250 employees; and

(2) owns or licenses computerized data that includes sensitive personal information.
