Tex. Educ. Code § 1001.554

GENERAL CRIMINAL PENALTY

Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1276, Sec. 6.012(a), eff

(a) A person commits an offense if the person violates this chapter.

(b) An offense under this section is punishable by:

(1) a fine of not less than $100 or more than $20,000;

(2) confinement in the county jail for a term not to exceed six months; or

(3) both the fine and confinement.
