The board may contract with the City of Denton for the furnishing of water and other utility services to the university. The rates to be charged the university may not exceed those regularly established, published, and declared rates for similar customers. If there are no similar customers, the rates to be charged shall be those established by the City of Denton for commercial users. The city may make any adjustments, discounts, and special rates that the governing authorities of the city may consider appropriate to provide for the university.
