STUDENT RIGHTS REGARDING FULL-TIME HYBRID AND FULL-TIME VIRTUAL CAMPUSES

(a) A student enrolled in a school district may not be compelled to enroll in a full-time hybrid or full-time virtual campus. A school district must offer the option for a student's parent to select in-person instruction for the student.

(b) Notwithstanding Subsection (a) or Section 30B.052, an open-enrollment charter school may require a student to attend a full-time hybrid or full-time virtual campus.
