AUTHORITY WITH WHOM APPLICATION FILED

Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, Sec. 1, eff

An application for a place on the ballot must be filed with:

(1) the secretary of state, for a statewide or district office; or

(2) the county judge, for a county or precinct office.
