POWERS RELATING TO CLAIMS

Known as the Texas Credit Union Act

The act spans §§ 121.001 to 149.002 (219 sections).

The conservator may:

(1) determine the existence and amount of claims;

(2) allow proved claims of security, preference, or priority;

(3) disallow unproved claims of security, preference, or priority; and

(4) settle or release a claim in favor of or against the credit union.
