Tex. Fin. Code § 156.2046

CONVICTION OF OFFENSE

Known as the Residential Mortgage Loan Company Licensing and Registration Act

A person is considered to have been convicted of a criminal offense if:

(1) a sentence is imposed on the person;

(2) the person received probation or community supervision, including deferred adjudication or community service; or

(3) the court deferred final disposition of the person's case.
