CHANGE OF OFFICE OR NAME

Known as the Texas Savings and Loan Act

The act spans §§ 61–89 (217 sections).

(a) Only with the prior approval of the commissioner may an association:

(1) establish an office other than the principal office stated in the association's articles of incorporation;

(2) move an office from its immediate vicinity; or

(3) change the association's name.

(b) On request, the commissioner shall give a person who may be affected by an act described by Subsection (a) an opportunity to be heard.
