Tex. Gov't Code § 2204.102

SALE OF STATE LAND TO UNITED STATES

Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff

(a) The governor may sell to the United States land owned by this state that the United States desires to acquire for a purpose specified by Section 2204.101.

(b) On payment of the purchase money for the land into the state treasury, the land commissioner, on the order of the governor, shall issue a patent for that land to the United States in the same manner that other patents are issued.
