(a) A local government may approve or disapprove a housing rehabilitation loan application authorized by Section 2304.063. The approval or disapproval must be given in accordance with the rules adopted by the department under Section 2304.062.
(b) The local government shall notify the department of the approval of a loan application and the amount of the approved loan.
