Tex. Gov't Code § 323.021

LEGISLATIVE OFFICE RECORDS

Added by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1250 (H.B. 4181), Sec. 23, eff

A member of the legislature, the lieutenant governor, an officer of the house or senate, or a legislative agency, office, or committee that uses a system made available by the council to transmit, store, or maintain records:

(1) possesses, maintains, or controls the records for purposes of litigation; and

(2) is the custodian of the records for purposes of Chapter 552.
