Tex. Gov't Code § 501.137

PRESIDING OFFICER

Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1190, Sec. 1, eff

The governor shall designate a public member of the committee who is licensed to practice medicine in this state as presiding officer. The presiding officer serves in that capacity at the will of the governor.
