(a) The commission may implement the Statewide Needs Appraisal Project to obtain county-specific demographic data concerning health and human services needs in this state.
(b) Any collected data must be made available for use in planning and budgeting for health and human services programs by state agencies.
(c) The commission shall coordinate the commission's activities with the appropriate health and human services agencies.
