(a) The commission shall establish the rural hospital advisory committee, either as an advisory committee or as a subcommittee of the hospital payment advisory committee, to advise the commission on issues relating specifically to rural hospitals.
(b) The rural hospital advisory committee is composed of interested individuals the executive commissioner appoints. Section 2110.002 does not apply to the advisory committee.
(c) An advisory committee member serves without compensation.
