The commission or a Medicaid managed care organization that contracts with a transportation vendor may require the transportation vendor or a motor vehicle operator who provides services under this subchapter to be periodically screened against the list of excluded individuals and entities the Office of Inspector General of the United States Department of Health and Human Services maintains.
