APPLICABILITY OF SUBCHAPTER

Known as the Advance Directives Act

The act spans §§ 166–166 (82 sections).

(a) This subchapter applies to a DNR order issued in a health care facility or hospital.

(b) This subchapter does not apply to an out-of-hospital DNR order as defined by Section 166.081.
