Tex. Health & Safety Code § 81.0815

FAILURE TO REPORT; CIVIL PENALTY

Known as the Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Act

(a) A health care facility that fails to submit a report required by the department under a public health disaster is liable to this state for a civil penalty of not more than $1,000 for each failure.

(b) The attorney general at the request of the department may bring an action to collect a civil penalty imposed under this section.
