Tex. Health & Safety Code § 85.033

COORDINATION OF SERVICES

Known as the Human Immunodeficiency Virus Services Act

(a) To prevent unnecessary duplication of services, the executive commissioner and the department shall seek to coordinate the services provided by eligible programs under Subchapters A through G with existing federal, state, and local programs.

(b) The department shall consult with the Department of Aging and Disability Services and the commission to ensure that programs funded under this subchapter complement and do not unnecessarily duplicate services provided through the Department of Aging and Disability Services and the commission.
