MODEL PROTOCOLS FOR COUNSELING AND TESTING
Known as the Human Immunodeficiency Virus Services Act
The act spans §§ 85–85 (80 sections).

(a) The department shall develop, and the executive commissioner shall adopt, model protocols for counseling and testing related to HIV infection. The protocols shall be made available to health care providers on request.
(b) A testing program shall adopt and comply with the model protocols developed by the department under Subsection (a).
