Tex. Health & Safety Code § 85.114

EDUCATION OF CERTAIN CLIENTS, INMATES, PATIENTS, AND RESIDENTS

Known as the Human Immunodeficiency Virus Services Act

(a) Each state agency listed in Section 85.113 shall routinely make available HIV education for clients, inmates, patients, and residents of treatment, educational, correctional, or residential facilities under the agency's jurisdiction.

(b) Education available under this section shall be based on the model educational materials developed by the department and tailored to the cultural, educational, language, and developmental needs of the clients, inmates, patients, or residents, including the use of Braille or telecommunication devices for the deaf.
