ENCOURAGING EXCLUSION OF EMPLOYEE PROHIBITED

Known as the Health Insurance Portability and Availability Act

A large employer health benefit plan issuer or agent may not encourage a large employer to exclude an employee who meets the participation criteria from health coverage provided in connection with the employee's employment.
