BOARD ACCESS TO RECORDS

Known as the Texas Title Insurance Guaranty Act

The act spans §§ 2602–2602 (80 sections).

The receiver, supervisor, conservator, or other statutory successor of an impaired title insurance company or agent shall give the board or its representative:

(1) access to the company's or agent's records as necessary for the board to perform its functions under this chapter relating to covered claims; and

(2) copies of those records on the board's request and at the board's expense.
