IMPOSITION OF SANCTIONS

(a) The commissioner may impose or seek any sanction authorized by law, including the penalties authorized by Chapters 82 and 83, against a reinsurance intermediary, insurer, or reinsurer who the commissioner determines, after notice and hearing as provided by this code, has violated this chapter.

(b) The commissioner may impose or seek any sanction authorized by law, including the penalties authorized by Chapter 101, against a nonlicensed reinsurance intermediary who violates this chapter.
