LIMIT ON RATE INCREASES

Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff

Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, on a life insurance certificate issued after May 21, 1965, an association may not during any consecutive five-year period increase the rate to more than double the rate charged the insured at the time of the rate increase.
